So.... we have now have two published members of the family, how cool is that? Rachie sent me pictures of John who has been featured in 009 News but not only that, he is a cover star!

It is soooo fabtastic being in a magazine - well done John! *cheers*

God Save the Queen...

So Chris Nugent finally called late last night to check that our internet was disconnected and to arrange the reconnection in 10 days time. We never lost our connection...

Today is the Queen's birthday (apparently) not the day that she was born on but an additonal one just because she is the Queen... hmm does that make her 160 then? Perhaps there is something in those alien conspiracy theorys after all. Although there is probably as much truth in those rumours as in my favourite theory regarding Sir Paul. (Google it!). Maybe John's boss is not John's boss after all....

Anyway. I made a card, not to celebrate the Queen's birthday, you understand but because there is a competition where I could win lots of lovely card making stuff. I though that you might like to see it, so here it is :)

A Word In Spanish

Yay we still have an internet connection at the mo....

Josh amazed me this week when with out thinking he counted to five.... in Spanish! Me thinks Dora has alot to answer for lol. It's quite mad when your 4 yr old know more words in Spanish than you do!

I also noticed Jared getting in on the act and saying "si" instead of yes...... (well 'd' anyway, he has not quite mastered words beginning with S yet :))

Ghost in the Machine

Our internet connection is due to be cut off tomorrow, not due to our request, you understand but by Wanadoo who are now called 'Orange' placing a cease on the line. *screams*

I have made 14 phone calls over the course of this week speaking to numerous robots and am still no closer to understanding why they chose to do this. It would be so much easier if you could at least speak to the same call centre but no, they have one in Middlesborough, one in Rotherham and one off shore, prolly in India.

3 calls chasing a team leader call later and I am told that I will be called tomorrow to ensure that we are reconnected..... not the same day but in 10 days *sigh*

Aparently they can not reverse their cock up. Perhaps it is time to change, there is only so many times that I will tolerate comments such as 'Don't be so stupid' 'Maybe it was a ghost' and many that I could not even understand that were read from a standard issue answer sheet published in India........

I will wait patiently for the call back tomorrow from Chris 'of course I will call you back' Nugent from Rotherham.

Inky Stinky...

Jared had a good week last week, his most favourite activity, I think was realising that if you lick a water colour pencil, you can make colour appear everywhere..... and he looks like such a little angel in the pictures :)

This was in the same week that he managed to stick his hands inside his 'pants' whilst I made tea and pulled out a big dollop of poo to show me....

Best of British....

I received fantastic news earlier this year when I was named as one of the Best of British Cardmaker 2006 winners (I guess that makes me a BOB!). My cards are in 'Papercraft Inspirations' Magazine today - how fantastic is that! Although there is a particularly dodgy photo of me next to them, hopefully people will ignore the photo and focus on the cards lol!

Current project is a retirement card for Dad's friend Elizabeth.... It is huge but will try and add a piccie when it is complete.

I am a blogger...

Well soon to be anyway :) This is my first post so please be gentle with me... I thought that it would be a good idea for the world at large to see bit of my life in sunny* Swindon (well those that wish to). I am pleased that I have managed to get this far, being technically challenged, It was surprisingly easy (may not say that in a min when things start going wrong!).

Ok so am exhausted now after setting this up and little Jared has awoken.... may be back later to add a bit more
