I just love, love, love patterned paper so this week I dare you to join me in Patterned Paper PassionI want to see 3 different patterned appers on you card. And to be extra daring, why not see if you can use 3 different lines of paper!
I seem to remember a fantastic LO featuring Lythan and her huge love of patterened paper *wink* Digging out some old stash this week, I created this;
Paper is Daisy D's, KI Memories and K&Co so three different papers by 3 different manf. :) October Afternoon rub on, SEI ribbon, Prima flowers and Cord brad from the Range.
It was also brilliant to have my card chosen as one of the fab 5 this week :) Thank you for picking my card, Kazan and Laura, it is an honour.
My dare for this one is the predictable, someone had to do it, theme of Valentines. Although I don't want you to feel you just have to make Valentines Day cards, feel free to make a card fitting any theme you like as long as it has a heart somewhere on it. Stamped hearts, punched hearts, diecut hearts, heart embellishments, cut from patterned paper, whatever, whenever as long as it has the right shape.
Basic Brey Bittersweet papers, Prima flowers, Brad and crocheted flower from The Range, ribbon from stash, Melissa France rub on, hand stitching and inking.
I made a card over the weekend for the Papertake Weekly challenge, based upon a brilliant sketch by Dawny...
Papers are Basic Grey, Paperchase label, MM letters, ribbon and flower from stash.
Josh had an op on Friday so is at home recovering this week, all fixed now though so all good :)....(he wanted a piccie taken of the super duper magic cream)...
My turn over at Daring Cardmakers to dare you all this week...
This week starts nice and easy...
Any card, any theme and any colour scheme of your choosing - but the catch... some one else must actually make and assemble the card for you... (with your supervision)!
Friends, relatives, or if there is no one close to hand, why not send instructions via email.
I persuaded Jase to make mine for me :) I gave him a little sketch and this is the brilliant card that he came up with...
I had a go at the very talented Laura's sketch for 2 sketches 4 you
Papers are BG, Core'dinations cardstock, Bo Bunny ribbon, and K&Co paper bits.
Forgot say in all the below excitement that Blogger has finally fixed itself. Lots of posts sadly sat unposted until now. I could quite easily type and save away but when it came to publishing, Blogger said no (and told me that I was in some strange Beta zone). All good now though :)
Kirsty picked me to be on her new design team. I am so excited to be creating alongside Jozza and Terrie, and shocked that Kirsty picked me out of all the fantastic entrants. Thank you Kirsty, I am so thrilled!
We'd like you to do your bit for the planet and make a card using some recycled items. Yes, we know we've done similar challenges in the past, but some things are good to revisit and this is one of them - it gets us looking at stuff we might be throwing away and asking ourselves if there's some card-making mileage to be had from it. And besides, it's FREE! If you can use something rescued from Christmas rubbish (scraps from cards, decorations etc) - then you get double points! lol
Urban Prairie rub ons and paper, MM letter stickers, Bo Bunny ribbon, and a tag recycled from a pair of Jeans :)
