Back

As some of you know, my Nan passed away recently - sometimes it is good to step away from blogging and allow batteries to be recharged.

My mojo seems to be slowly returning and after a week in North Wales, I have finally completed some of the half finished cards that have been sitting on my work desk;

This is the card made for the Ribbon Girl's colour challenge number 7
featuring the colours red, white and blue - apparently there is a wedding taking place at the end of this week and this was made with the happy couple in mind;

The card is made with;
Ribbon Girl seam binding, ribbon and lace
CraftsUPrint Union Flag postcard
Echo Park Be Mine printable papers and elements
Prima flowers
Papermania gems
Paper flowers
and a few bits and bobs from stash.

The Ribbon Girls have been amazingly generous (as always) and there is a fantastic red white and blue themed prize on offer - you can check out all the details here

The Ribbon Girls also have a very yummy Baker's Twine giveway too;

- all the details are here

and these are my Daring Cardmaker's cards for the past few weeks;

Flowers of the Month Daisy card;

Lythan's Draw a Bird dare;

and one for Rein's Professionally Speaking dare (for a seamstress);

TFL and Happy Easter!

It's great to see you back, Jo. I was so sorry to hear about your nan, and I know from experience that it takes time to come to terms with such a loss - when they've been around for so long you forget they aren't invincible.
All your projects are fabulous as always and it's a real treat to see all your "catch-up" pieces all together - a feast for the eyes!
