A Docrafts Dare

Beckie dared us this week at Daring Cardmakers' with a fantastic dare sponsored by Docrafts.
We were all lucky enough to be sent some of Docrafts fab new dies to use - I was sent the gorgeous Toy Box dies and made these two cards;

(I also used Docrafts Crafts Christmas paper and Docrafts Create Christmas buttons)

(inlaid the train die into a watercolor background)

There is a brilliant prize on offer too, this week from Docrafts; you can check the details of how you can win and also see the DT's amazing creations on the Daring Cardmakers' blog

A little Cricket and a Bee...

Two cards today - both made sing MFT's Chicken Wire die, the first is a card that I made as part of a set for Papercraft Inspirations issue 129, using Basic Grey Highline papers

and the second - a birthday card for my Dad who celebrated his 75th Birthday this week;

I used Crate and Studio Calico papers, Basic Grey candy buttons and a watercolor cricket image.

Mash Up

A complete mix of cards today - I seem to be starting cards but not actually finishing them atm...

The first two are for previous Daring Cardmakers' dares;

August's Colour Combo;

(I used the free graphic from here)

Kathy's Brilliant Beach Hut Dare;

(I used Waterlogue to create a watercolor picture)

and on to this week's dare;

This week it was my turn to set the dare and with the amount of loom bands decorating the front room whole house, I chose;

It doesn't have to be a loom band, hair bands, sewing elastic, rubber bands, all fine as long as somewhere on the card there is a stretch factor :)

I made loom band flowers to add to my card, and tied on the buttons with more bands;

and I also made this - the loom bands aren't on the card but I made the Hello Kitty Inspired bracelet to match;

TFL and don't forget to check out the DT's fantastic elastic cards on the Daring Cardmakers' blog!

Adventure Time!

Jared reached double figures and for his birthday, I made an Adventure Time Finn card for him. This has to be one of the simplest but cool cards ever!

I used Blue Core'dinations and White and Beige Papermania cardstock, Docrafts Oval and Circle dies and a white pen. Uploading this one to the current Less is More challenge;
