Daytripping

On Tuesday, we travelled with;
to get to;
and visit;
to see;
(and lots more).

We used this;(a lot)

and visited;and
and had a fab time.

I have been working on a few commissions this week but have made these as well;

Felt, Cardboard, CI ribbon, BG letters, Scenic Route heart, Luxe rub ons, notepaper.

(For J for Valentine's)

and a commissioned card for J's Mum;

K&Co papers, Papermania brad, Primas, Doodlebug and October Afternoon rub ons

and a this week's Dare card; It's Rein here this week with a new dare: I want to see a fish or a frog on your cards.

Not technically either but it does have 'fish' in its name.

Scenic Route and October Afternoon papers, brads from Poppicrafts, Hand cut jellyfish, press stud, inking and printed sentiment.

Have a fabulous weekend and TFL :)

Great post Jo - love the "story" of your trip - hope you had a great time in the Big Smoke.

Fab cards, all of them - love the little boat especially, and the wobbly one made me smile!

Oooh I can't decide which card I like best :) think it may have to be the neutral tones of the little boat. But the jelly FISH made me smile too!

Hi Jo,

I visit the DCM site quite often and really enjoy the cards. This is the first time I checked your blog and I love the stuff you come up with. It's very beautiful, lively, and cards that people would want to preserve for a long time. :)

I'm a novice card maker and just use different papers and some basic craft scissors. I am keen on improving my skills. What are some some good tools to invest in? Nothing very fancy. I was reading about the Cuttlebug. Would you recommend that? I live in India but I could have it bought in London or the U.S through relatives. Please give me some suggestions, or websites that I could pick up some info. Thanks!!
