Going Dotty

Wow,another amazingly busy week! I am not sure where the time is going at the mo! Jared had his school play this week and played his part as a snowflake brilliantly!

and catching up with Daring Cardmaker's Dares; Vanessa set last week's dare to use spots and dots on a card;

Onto to this week's dare, set by me (Vanessa) and I thought we'd have a little break from all things Christmassy. So, for one week only over this festive period, we're having a no-Christmas and no-Winter zone! Its polka-dot week! Lets bring some warmth to our cards with polka dots, but I don't mean spots or dots in a variety of sizes, it has to be specifically polka-dots (i.e. a pattern of dots of equal size, equally spaced). However, you can have whatever colour(s) you choose as long as your card doesn't look cold and wintry!!

I made this;

I used;

Doodlebug and vintage papers
Bo Bunny ribbon
Prima Flowers,
Lace from stash
Stitching and inking

and this week's dare set by Sue;

New Beginnings
As we are coming to the end of the year and fast approaching the start of not only a new year but a new decade, I’d like to see some cards celebrating something new.

It could be the New Year, a New Home, a New Addition to the family or even a New Day

I made a New Year Card;

I used;
CI Journalling card,
October Afternoon and Vintage papers,
Ribbon and Chipboard from stash
Papermania gems
Prima gem

and a quick Christmas card using American Crafts;

TFL!

MISS YOU!
Dont miss the fact you sent me the most AMAZING cards ever today in the post. I practically wept with joy. I love your cards so much - you are wasted, you should make them professionally on the telly.

Hey Jo, My blog buddy Kath shared your creation for Paper Creations Mag for this month. I gotta say I love that dress. I live in the US and I can't afford to subscribe, but I often wish I could. Love that dress. Very creative!
