Stars and Stripes

This weeks's challenge at the Shabby Tea Room is to use Red, white and blue/stars and stripes or both! I went with the stars and stripes and made this;



I wanted to make a cake card ever since I received a shop bought one;



which I scanned and used as a template. I used hand cut stars as the leaves behind each flower and added hand cut stripes to the cake body.

OA, Prima marketing and BG papers
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts (thanks to Lythan the enabler for recommending!)
Doily
Hand stitching and inking.
