and some good news;
My red white and blue sewing card was chosen as the winner for The Shabby Tea Room's #69 challenge - thank you, it is an honour!
and, as it is Friday - it's Daring Cardmaker's day. Nat chose a fantastic dare this week;
Hi everyone - it's Nat here with this week's dare, which will be something a little different!
As the title suggests we're looking to Pinterest for some inspiration!
I am a relatively new convert to Pinterest - I only joined a month or so ago, but it is definitely my favourite place to hang out at the moment and get instant inspiration - plus I can keep track of all the wonderful inspiring pics and cool techniques I've bookmarked over the years in one handy place.
If you don't know what Pinterest is, check out the blurb here for more info.
We want to spread some Pinterest love this week - because the joy of Pinterest is discovering new sources of inspiration!
So the dare this week is to create a card using a "pin" for inspiration.
This is my pin;
Source: citylovedetroit.com via Jo on Pinterest
and this is the card that was inspired by it;
I used; Glitz Design Scarlett papersnad sticker, 7Gypsies papers, October Afternoon stickers, Ribbon Girl lace, doily, press stud and flower from stash.
Don't forget to check out the pins that inspired the DT, and their fantastic cards and have a great weekend!

Sorry to see that you didn't make it to the next round of Gallery Idol Jo. It was stiff competition for sure, but I still think you were robbed ;)
Congrats on the Shabby Tea Room win, and great card for the dare!

Fabulous as always! Sorry you didn't get into the next round of Gallery Idol but well done on winning the Shabby Tea Room challenge,

Love the pin you chose as inspiration and the way you have combined all of the ingredients into such a great card.
Oooh Jo I love both those cards, the little vintage "button" card in the first one and that vintage dial nicely incorporated with all those yummy elements in the second. That dial reminds me of one of those old school address book cases where you dial the letter for it to open to the right card... my parents still have one complete with some very short phone numbers in there...
Brilliant cards as always, love your interpretation of the pinterest photo, really effective.
Adore this Jo! The phone dial is fantastic. Wonderful interpretation. Fran x
Fantastic spash of colours.I love the dial - just fabulous :0)

I love the pin you chose and how you interpreted it. Stunning card.
Congratulations on your win at TSTR last week (between you, me and Fran, we all got a mention!) x
