Normal service will resume shortly

 Over the Christmas period, Jase suffered a heart attack.  It certainly meant that the start to the New Year was different than planned and life has been more hectic than usual.  He is slowly improving which means that this week there was a little more time for crafting:)

Card number one is for this week's Daring Cardmakers' dare - chosen by the hugely talented Miri;

You can leave your hat on

I dare you to use any kind of head gear on your card: party hats, helmets, woolly hats, crowns, fascinators etc.
So put on your thinking cap :-), create a card and share it with us!

I struggled with this dare until I spotted Taheerah's inspiration photo;

and I made this;

It is made with;

Cardstock-  Core'dinations
Corkboard - American Crafts
Paper - Crate Paper Notes & Things
Dies - Tattered Lace and Lawn Fawn
Pearl - Kaisercraft
Rub Ons - really old Making Memories
Circle Punch - X Cut
Ink - Colorbox

and then I made card number two;

This card was inspired by the Runway Inspired #76;

and the card sketch at Studio Calico;

;

I triple embossed the hello die cut with versamark ink and clear embossing powder to make it nice and shiny :)

It is made with;

Cardstock -  American Crafts
Glitter Foam - The Range
Paper - Studio Calico Printshop
Washi Tape -  Paperchase
Dies - MFT & Spellbinders
Embossing Powder - Papermania
Pearls and Thread - from stash
Ink - Versamark

and on a roll, I made card number three;

I made this for the eldest small J (we watch a lot of football together!)

It is made with;

Cardstock -  American Crafts and from stash
Glitter Foam - The Range
Image - Snagged from t'internet
Font - KG Defying Gravity
Dies - Tattered Lace
Pearl - Kaisercraft

Entering this one into;

TFL - and have a great weekend!

Sorry life has been rough but I'm glad you have had some time to craft. Those old school rub ons made me smile - haven't seen them in years and it just shows that purging is a bad thing!

Your cards are great. The duck with the party hat is very cute!
If things around us are not that great, it's good to have a hobby that can distract us for a while, isn't it?!
