Light as a Feather

Sharon came up with this week's fantastic dare at Daring Cardmakers';

My dare this week is:

Light as a Feather

As feathers seem to be on trend at the moment I'd like to see feathers on your card somewhere - and you don't have to take it too literally - you could think a bit beyond the feather and feature a whole bird!

and as an extra bonus this week we have a fabulous prize to give away!

This week's prize is generously donated by Sarah Keerie, an independent Stampin' Up Demonstrator.  She's offering the Hip Hip Hooray card kit to one lucky winner (or a stamp set to the same value).

Sarah has a blog full of inspiration and details of Stampin' Up's products (www.esellek.com), and she also has an online store - www.sarahkeerie.stampinup.net)

You can check out all the details and see the amazing feathered cards on the Daring Cardmakers' blog!

This is my card;

I used Crate Paper and Kanban papers, Basic Grey Candy Buttons, a Kesi'art butterfly die and the sentiment is MFT - inked and embossed to make it super shiny.  The washi tape is a mix from stash and homemade (printed onto vellum) and I used some feather trim to add to the middle of the butterfly.

TFL!
