A couple of piccies first from last weekend...
We stayed in the Holiday Inn Eastleigh and had a brilliant weekend - apart from the service at the hotel which was soooo poor, kinda like the parents had all gone away and left the children in charge... oh and a nasty lady called Jared a girl (I'm sure she was not actually nasty but it has probably reaffirmed Mum's opinion that his hair needs chopping...)
and yesterday we went to the Zoo...
There do not seem to be as many 'big' animals at Bristol Zoo now as I remember but the boys had a fantastic time - we went on the train with Nan and Grandad so they were very excited :)
and... "You Big Softie"
We want you to use something soft on your card feathers, velvet paper, fluffy fibres
all that soft, strokable stuff counts for this one and that's it, easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy!
All the paper is from Kirsty's Betty Loves Adrian little kit - you can down load it from her bloggy blog here ; My soft bit is some wool that I finger knitted to make thicker and arranged in a floral manner; I also used a Bazzill brad and some poppers.
TFL :)

im in the "Keep jared hair longer" club.
He looks like a lil surfer dude, such a good look this season.
Love how you used my papers - you are the best!
Also so chuffed you are on Little Silver hats DT - Lianne is the BEST wibbon seller girl ever
Fabby photos Jo - that one of Josh really made me LOL.
Great card - you know, I thought you'd used pipe cleaners till I read your description, all very clever stuff - I wouldn't know where to begin with finger knitting - I can't even manage on knitting needles without leaving great big dropped stitch-holes!
Love all the photos. Jared just looks like a cute little round faced kid should. He could be a girl in the photo with the hat - but that isn't to do with the length of his hair - just his sweet face. It doesn't take long to see he is all boy!
And your softie card is brill - I love how you add new ideas to your cards like finger knitting - which is such a therapeutic thing to do!
Such lovely photos. And I love your DCM card too
Great card, and what wonderful family photo, don't mean the animals in the zoo, although I am sure their families would enjoy them.
Beauatiful card, I really love this!
Yup! soft soft card! very tender!
Glad to see you back with the lovely pictures! :)
Great pics Jo - looks like you had a fab time :)
Loving your DCM card too - a great take on the dare! :)
Awesome photos & fabby card, love those papers.
boo to the stupid woman thinking Jared was a girl! Long hair on little blonde boys rocks! (just ask my ds ;))
Jo that is so clever using finger knitting. A real blast from the past for me.
haven't visited your blog for a while but keep seeing your fab work in magazines! My boy is always being called a girl too.
